Invisalign invisible braces are perfect for straightening teeth in teens and adultsMake no sacrifices with clear, removable braces

Invisalign is a modern approach to straightening teeth. It allows you to get the straight, confident smile you've wanted for years by wearing a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners. Invisalign is different from braces. Invisalign aligners are:

  • Clear—since your "braces" will be nearly invisible, you won't be self-conscious about wearing them.
  • Removable—no need to avoid foods like popcorn or pizza crust. Plus, it makes brushing & flossing a cinch.
  • Easy to wear—no painful wires to poke at your cheeks & gums.
  • Cost effective—Invisalign treatment costs about as much as braces.
  • Respectful of your schedule—you'll only need to visit our office every four to six weeks.

Why choose Kansas City's dental technology leader for your Invisalign treatment?

Scanning a patient's mouth with iTero for Invisalign treatmentiTero

Flucke & Associates Dentistry uses iTero technology to eliminate the gagging that used to be commonplace when taking dental impressions. So, when we need to make a mold of your teeth, we don't have to fill your mouth with putty—instead, we can just scan your teeth, with no discomfort at all!

iTero scans are also more accurate. Many dentists and orthodontists who don't use iTero—even very good ones—have to re-do impressions pretty regularly, creating a drain on your time and patience. Our greater accuracy means you'll get a much better fit in your Invisalign aligners, with one-tenth the chance that you'll have to come in and re-take the impressions.

The Outcome Simulator

Because of our high-tech scanners, we can show you immediately how your teeth might look at the end of the Invisalign treatment.

"Couldn't I get this from an orthodontist?"

Very few orthodontists in the Lee's Summit & Blue Springs area are equipped with the advanced technology that we use to provide your Invisalign treatment. That means the messy, goopy molds filling your mouth to create the molds, and it means wait times of two weeks or more if you want to see simulated results before beginning treatment.

Orthodontists also can't put Invisalign into perspective for you. Our doctors focus on getting your best smile in the long term, and can make recommendations to achieve that. Unlike an orthodontist, Dr. Flucke & Dr. Huebner can follow up for years after your treatment to make sure you're getting the results you want.

How much does Invisalign cost?

According to a 2010 survey of Invisalign patients, Invisalign usually costs about as much as braces—about $5,000 on average. Depending on the case, the price may vary between about $3,500 and $8,000.

The good news, though, is that Invisalign is covered by many dental insurance plans, just like braces would be. When you schedule a free consultation with us, ask about your insurance's coverage. We can also discuss getting financing for you, allowing you to pay over a longer period of time.

It's not just for adults!

Invisalign is a great choice for adults—after all, who wants to wear braces at work? But our office also uses Invisalign Teen so that your kids can painlessly get a confident, straight smile!

Invisalign aligners can be removed when eating--try doing that with braces! How does Invisalign work?

You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move—little by little, week by week—until they have straightened to the final position our doctors have prescribed. You'll visit our office about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.

Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.
